Free Church Letters Templates Do You Believe In Seperation Of Church And State?

Do you believe in seperation of church and state? - free church letters templates

I do! Just as our ancestors!

The belief that religion is a matter solely between a man and his God, he owes to another because of his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of the government's actions only, and not opinions, I view with awe the sovereign act of the whole American people which declared that their legislation, "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise should create the same" so a wall of separation between Church and State Letter (from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists, 1802 )

Every new and successful example, therefore, a perfect separation between ecclesiastical and civil matters is of importance, and I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as did all of the past by showing that religion and government, both in larger purity, there are, the less they are mixed (James Madison's letter to Edward Livingston, July 10, 1822).

Church and state should be separated because they pursue other aims.

Perhaps you should study the history of it a little more closely at. Discover how it was that Patrick Henry elected governor of Virginia, first. If you know have the facts behind this case, you might think differently. Qestion? E-mail me. They are wrong.
